Jim Hempstead is a Managing Director in Moody’s Global Project & Infrastructure Finance Group, where he heads both the North American Regulated Utility & Power Team and the North American Public Infrastructure Team.

Jim acts as a rating chair across all segments of Moody’s Global Infrastructure & Project Finance franchise, and is a member of both the firm’s Infrastructure Finance Franchise Committee and Global Infrastructure Focus Editorial Board.

 Jim also manages the Moody’s Cyber Risk Team, which looks to incorporate cyber security risk into global credit analyses.

Jim helped manage the firm’s global Environmental, Social and Governance efforts between 2017 – 2020.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2002, Jim was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch &Co., working in the Global Energy & Power Group, providing financial and advisory services to electric, natural gas distribution, interstate pipeline, energy merchant, water and energy technology companies. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Jim worked with Salomon Smith Barney Corporate Finance, working in their Global Energy &Power Group.

Jim graduated with a B.S.B.A. from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University. From 2011 - 2013, Jim served as the Director of Emergency Management for his hometown in New Jersey, and is a registered EMT for his local, volunteer first aid squad. Jim is a member of the Wall Street Utility Group and served as a Trustee with the Society of Utility and Regulatory Financial Analysts (SURFA) between 2012 -2020. He served on the Advisory Council for the Electric Power Research Institute(EPRI) from 2014-2019.

Reed Rayman is a Partner and member of the Apollo Leadership Team. He is currently the Head of the AI Sector for Apollo, overseeing the firm’s global coverage of the AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem as part of a cross-firm effort to bring Apollo’s full range of capital solutions to leading technology companies.

Since joining Apollo in 2010, he has held a number of leadership roles, most recently as the Deputy Co-Head of Apollo’s Hybrid business, the firm’s solutions-oriented strategy that encompasses the Hybrid Value Funds, Opportunistic Credit vehicles, and Apollo Aligned Alternatives (“AAA”). He previously spent nearly 15 years in Apollo Private Equity.

Over the course of his career, Reed has led numerous investments across technology, media, and services sectors. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Yahoo! and as a director of Shutterfly and Soho House. He previously sat on the boards of numerous companies including ADT, Western Digital, Redbox and Coinstar, and was involved in Apollo’s $11 billion investment in Intel and the firm’s April 2020 COVID-period financings for Expedia and Cimpress.

Prior to Apollo, Reed worked at Goldman Sachs in the Industrials Investment Banking group and the Principal Strategies Group. He graduated from Harvard University with an AB in Economics. He is a board member of New Visions for Public Schools, a Trustee at New York’s Horace Mann School, and the Chair of the Private Capital Division of the UJA Federation of New York. He lives in New York with his wife and three children.

Keith Banhazl is a Managing Director, Co-Head of Americas Structured Finance & Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance, Americas at Moody’s Ratings. He is also the Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Franchise Lead for North America covering Project & Infrastructure, Public Finance, Corporates, REITs, Banking, and Structured. Additionally, he leads the teams responsible for CMBS & CRE CLO new ratings and surveillance at Moody’s Ratings. The team is responsible for reviewing Conduit/Fusion, Large Loan/Single Borrower, Agency CMBS, Credit Tenant Lease, Small Balance Commercial, CRE CLO, CRE CDO and other private credit CRE related products. He is also the coordinator for our cross group CRE related initiatives covering Structured, Banking, Corporates, REITs, Public finance, and Project & Infrastructure. He is Moody’s Global Structured Finance Outreach and Research Coordinator and has been involved in various research initiatives and outreach activities related to the CRE securitization space, publishing and speaking on Moody’s behalf. Prior to being appointed to his current position, Mr. Banhazl was a Managing Director within the Structured Finance Group leading the US CMBS and CRE CLO/CDO Surveillance team and the review of primary US CRE CLO/CDO transactions, including the credit assessment team for commercial real estate assets within CRE CDO’s and CLO’s as well as Structured Credit transactions. He is on the Board of Governors at CREFC (Commercial Real Estate Finance Council) and also a Board Member at StreetWise Partners - non-profit organization focusing on mentoring and coaching. 

Mr. Banhazl has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University in Economics and History.

Doug Powers (New York) joined KKR in 2021 and is a member of the Infrastructure team. He has been involved with KKR's investments in CyrusOne and Global Technical Realty. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Powers worked in private equity at Charlesbank Capital Partners and in management consulting at Bain & Company. He holds a degree in Applied Mathematics cum laude from Harvard College.

Maksim Rakhman is Head of Ratings Advisory in Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. He advises issuers on ratings strategy, credit and risk analysis, and capital structure considerations, with a focus on bespoke financing solutions. His experience spans corporate analysis, structured joint ventures, asset‑level financings, and project finance transactions.

With over 15 years of experience across public and private markets, Maksim has structured and executed large‑scale debt transactions for corporate, sovereign, and infrastructure‑related issuers across the U.S., Latin America, and EMEA. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Maksim was a credit analyst at Moody’s Investors Service, where he covered technology, media, and telecommunications issuers. He holds a BBA in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, CUNY.

Raj Joshi is a Senior Vice President on the Corporate Finance Team. He is the lead analyst responsible for a portfolio of enterprise software, hardware and technology-enabled services companies. Raj has covered a portfolio of technology and business services companies since 2010. From 2005 to 2010, he was part of the Telecommunications and Media team. Before joining Moody’s in 2005, Raj was an International Banker at Union Bank of California (now part of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group).

Raj has an MBA from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mumbai. Raj is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc.

Shawn M. Elicegui is Senior Vice President, Resource Planning and Regulatory at NV Energy, where he oversees integrated resource planning, regulatory pricing, regulatory services, and regulatory legal functions. He has held numerous executive leadership positions at NV Energy spanning regulation, resource and strategic planning, customer operations, and legal affairs. He made significant contributions to NV Energy’s framework for addressing service requests from new, large load customers. He previously served as Chief Legal Officer of Nexus Water Group and Executive Vice President, Risk Management and Chief Legal Officer of Corix Utilities. Mr. Elicegui has extensive experience in utility regulation, resource planning, rate proceedings, energy policy, and regulated infrastructure. He earned his J.D., from UC Davis School of Law.

Ryan Wobbrock is a Senior Vice President in the Global Infrastructure Finance Group at Moody’s Ratings. His responsibilities include conducting industry research and supporting the credit analysis of various U.S. electric utility companies. Prior to joining the Utilities Group as a Senior Associate in December 2004, Ryan worked at Moody’s in the Public Finance Group and spent time in Investment Accounting at Ambac Financial Group. Ryan graduated as an Honors Program Participant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Colorado State University.

Adam Lavallee brings over 15 years of experience in data centers, power, and the electrical industry, with a strong focus on reliability, uptime, and mission critical infrastructure. He currently serves as Global Business Development Leader for Data Centers at Emerson's power and water business, where he supports growth initiatives and customer engagement across the global market.

Adam has spent his career working closely with suppliers and customers across the power ecosystem, holding progressive sales and business development roles and driving strong sales performance. He is passionate about power systems, operational resilience, and helping data center operators achieve dependable, long term performance.

Nikki Hsu, CFA, is an equity research analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, covering the U.S. utilities and power industry. Her research focuses on electric utilities, independent power producers and the evolving U.S. power market, including the implications of rising data-center electricity demand, generation investment and regulatory developments. She joined Bloomberg Intelligence in 2015 and has two decades of experience at Bloomberg spanning financial data and equity research. Ms. Hsu holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Drexel University.

Shawn Anderson is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NiSource Inc., and a member of the executive leadership team. He has responsibility for finance, accounting, strategy and risk for NiSource Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Anderson has 15 years of experience at NiSource, previously serving in a number of executive leadership roles including Chief Strategy & Risk Officer and Treasurer. He also held several finance and regulatory roles at NiSource subsidiary, Columbia Gas of Ohio, including Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.

Anderson serves as Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Gas Association. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mount Carmel Health System and as Chair of Mount Carmel’s Governing Board, as well as on the Board of Directors for Children’s Hunger Alliance, where he chaired its Finance and Audit Committee.

Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University. He completed his Six Sigma Black Belt from Xavier University and is a graduate of Leadership Columbus.

Ranjini Venkatesan is an Executive Director in Moody’s Ratings’ Corporate Finance Group responsible for a portfolio of real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other real estate companies across a variety of property types. Prior to her current role, Ranjini was a lead analyst in Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group covering financial guaranty and mortgage insurance companies. Before joining Moody’s, Ranjini was a sell-side equity research analyst at ABN Amro Asia. Ranjini holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.

As Chief Executive Officer of INTECH Risk Management, Fraser provides industry-leading insurance and risk advisory services to Government Authorities, Sponsors, Lenders, Asset Managers, and Developers across North America. His deep understanding of the insurance marketplace enables him to develop tailored risk management solutions for complex transactions and large-scale projects across multiple sectors.

Over the past two decades, Fraser has established himself as a trusted advisor in the infrastructure, renewable energy, commercial real estate, and digital infrastructure sectors, with significant experience supporting some of the largest data center developments, acquisitions, and financings across Canada and the United States. He regularly advises Lenders, Investors, Owners, Developers, and Operators on the unique insurance and risk considerations associated with digital infrastructure assets. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of data center projects, including land acquisition, development, construction, commissioning, operations, and refinancing transactions.

In addition to his extensive data center expertise, Fraser advises major global lenders on commercial mortgages, construction lending, asset-based lending, healthcare, renewable energy, and equipment finance transactions. His objective is to facilitate the successful closing of transactions while ensuring stakeholders are comfortable with the risks inherent in each project and investment.

Fraser has significant experience drafting and negotiating insurance and indemnity provisions in loan agreements, construction contracts, leases, and other material commercial agreements. He structures practical risk allocation solutions and regularly reviews and updates internal insurance requirements to reflect evolving market conditions and industry best practices. He also provides specialized advisory services for tax equity insurance reviews, a niche offering within the industry.

Beyond his client responsibilities, Fraser regularly delivers educational seminars for industry professionals and frequently participates on conference panels. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, a Master of Laws (LL.M.), the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, and is licensed by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).

Frank Mamo is a Vice President, Senior Analyst on Moody’s US Local Government team. He is the state lead for local government ratings in Georgia, covering cities, counties, K-12 school districts, and municipal utilities. Frank’s portfolio also includes Florida and South Carolina local governments. Frank has led a range of research initiatives that assess how demographic, economic and socioeconomic trends influence local government credit quality.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Frank was a tax policy researcher at the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy as well as the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities in Washington, DC. Frank holds an MPA from Columbia University and a BBA from the University of Iowa.
