Marcos Schmidt is an Associate Managing Director in the Moody’s Corporate Finance Group in São Paulo, Brazil, leading the credit analysis and rating process for a diversified portfolio of media & telecommunication, airlines, and building materials companies in South America.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2014, Marcos worked at Morgan Stanley as a credit risk analyst. He previously worked for Moody’s from 2007 to 2012, Citibank and Deutsche Bank.

Marcos received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Escola de Engenharia Maua in Brazil. He also holds an MBA from FIA - Fundacao Instituto de Administracao.

Ceres joined Moody’s in 2006 and is the Associate Managing Director - Latin American Banking.

Ceres came from Standard Bank - Brazil, where she was the RegionalCredit Officer for Latin American Financial Institutions. Ceres, a long-time Brazilian bank industry specialist, was also a credit analyst withBank of America’s Trading Group for over six years, and prior to that she worked for ABN AMRO (Brazil) and BankBoston (Brazil) as a credit analyst for the middle market sector. She holds a B.A. degree from Pontificia Universidade Católica - São Paulo and an MBA in Banking from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Brazil.

In his role Renzo has been with Moody's since 2015 when Equilibrium -a Peruvian rating agency- was acquired by Moody's to further develop the Moody's Local platform.

Renzo is responsible for managing key clients and developing new relationships including day-to-day operations for Peru and Bolivia and had extended to Central America.

Previously, Renzo worked in lmpregilo, a Fiat Group company, dedicated to large-scale civil engineering works, based in Milan, Italy, being responsible for credit insurance, liability management and consolidation of financial operations. He also served one year in the Italian Army. Renzo began his career in Peru in 1989 as Data Analyst at the National Confederation of Private Entrepreneurship under the CAF-CONFIEP agreement. Renzo is a Business Administrator from the University of Lima and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Business Administration Faculty of the same university. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English.

Felipe is a Vice President-Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group for Moody's. Based in Mexico City, he leads the credit analysis of various financial institutions, including banks, securities firms and finance companies in Mexico, Chile and Peru. Prior to this position, he had similar responsibilities for financial institutions throughout Latin America. Felipe joined Moody's in 2000. He holds an MBA from New York University and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Boston. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese

Sandra Beltrán has been with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group since 2007. She is currently a Vice President Senior Analyst covering a diverse portfolio of companies in Consumer Products, Retail, Building Materials, Airlines, Tourism and Manufacturing industries, based in Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru. Prior to joining Moody’s she was a credit risk analyst at Ixe Casa de Bolsa and was also a research assistant at Centro de Estudios de Competitividad (CEC) within Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) where she also got her bachelor’s degree in Economics and is enrolled in the Applied Economics graduate program.

Barbara Mattos is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Since joining Moody’s in 2011, she has covered a diverse range of corporate sectors in Latin America, including mining, steel, pulp and paper, chemicals, building materials, protein, and restaurants. Currently, she manages a portfolio focused on mining and protein companies in the region and serves as Moody’s global coordinator for the metals and mining industry.

Before her tenure at Moody’s, Barbara was responsible for equity research initiatives at FRAM Capital and worked with the strategic planning and investor relations team at ABN Amro Bank. Her experience also includes roles at Wintershall AG and Cambridge Energy Research Associates in Cambridge, MA.

Barbara holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in accounting from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil. She also earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management in New Haven, CT, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Daniela Cuan is a VP/Senior Credit Officer in the Global Infrastructure Finance Group.

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Daniela is lead analyst for debt issuers in the utility sector in Argentina and other countries in the region. Daniela works in the Americas team, providing her local and regional perspective to the analysis of Argentinean and regional issuers.

Daniela has more than 20 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2000, Daniela worked for a local rating agency in Argentina, covering a variety of local industries. She began her career in corporate and commercial banking. She had worked for BCI between 1991 and 1994, taking responsibility for a portfolio of more than 20 Argentinean corporations. She continued her banking career at BBVA during 1994.

Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires/UBA and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Capital Markets also from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Renzo Merino es vicepresidente y credit officer sénior del grupo de riesgo soberano de Moody's Ratings. Se incorporó a Moody's en 2011 y ha sido analista líder de calificaciones soberanas y supranacionales en América Latina desde 2014. Su cartera incluye México, Colombia, Panamá y Uruguay. También es el analista principal del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo. Renzo ha publicado investigaciones sobre temas relevantes para el crédito soberano que afectan a la región de América Latina. Se graduó de la Universidad de Nueva York con una Maestría en Economía y también tiene un BA en Economía de la Universidad de Pennsylvania.

Roxana Munoz is responsible for a diverse portfolio in Latin America, including Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. Her portfolio covers states, municipalities, water companies, public universities, toll roads, airports among other infrastructure assets. Prior to joining Moody’s in February 2007, Roxana gained financial analysis experience at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where she was responsible for the analysis of three campi. Also, she was an internal auditor at L’Oreal México. Roxana holds a Master on Finance and a Bachelor on Accounting and Finance (Honors) of Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). She also studied at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Alexandre Albuquerque is a Vice President – Senior Analyst on the Latin American Banking Team, covering a portfolio of financial institutions in Brazil and Uruguay. He is also a backup analyst for Peruvian banks. Alexandre joined Moody’s in 2004 as an Associate Analyst. Prior to joining Moody’s, Alexandre spent four years in the Corporate Finance division of a Brazilian investment bank and, for over two years, was involved in strategy and management consulting with a Brazilian firm. Alexandre holds an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Cristiane is a Senior Vice President/Manager, based in Sao Paulo with management responsibility for the rating agency coverage of project finance, infrastructure and sub sovereign credits across Latin America. In her role, she oversees a team of analysts covering those sectors, developing research on sector trends and conducting outreach activities with key market participants. Cristiane has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry. Since she joined the firm in January 2007, Cristiane covered several infrastructure credits in the transportation, sanitation and electricity sectors and project finance transactions. Cristiane has also worked as a senior analyst with Moody's corporate finance team covering high yield and financially distressed issuers in the real estate, construction and transportation sectors until 2016.Before joining Moody's, Cristiane developed credit analysis at West lB and fixed income portfolio management activities at Bank Boston. Cristiane holds a Master's degree in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a MBA in Real Estate from the University of Sao Paulo.

Rosa is a Vice President-Senior Analyst based in Mexico City. Rosa has covered many industries since she joined Moody’s in 2009, including Telecom, Construction, Building Materials and Oil and Gas. Rosa is currently responsible for a portfolio of Latin American IG and HY companies primarily in the Telecom and Metals & Mining sectors. She also covers other names in the Agribusiness and Consumer industries.

Before her current responsibilities, Rosa was manager of the Associate Analysts team in CFG Latin America, and she also managed the Sub Sovereign and Infrastructure groups on an interim basis.

Before joining Moody’s, Rosa worked at GE Capital financing aircraft and portfolio acquisitions in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Rosa has a degree in Management with a major in Finance and a post-graduate diploma in Banking, Credit and Risk Management from ITAM (Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico). She holds a Master’s degree in International Finance from Universidad Panamericana and she also completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program in The Wharton School in Pennsylvania.
