We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive Moody's Capital Markets reception, bringing together a selected group of capital markets participants from across the industry. The event will take place on Thursday, 3 September 2026, from 17:00 on the rooftop at the Sofitel Frankfurt.
The evening will begin with opening remarks from Sandra Veseli, Head of EU, who will welcome guests and provide a brief introduction to Moody's and our Frankfurt office.

Sandra Veseli is a Managing Director and Head of the EU for Moody’s Ratings, currently based in Frankfurt. She is also the Country Manager for Germany. Sandra is responsible for coordinating the strategic, operational and business engagement with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
Before joining the regional management team, Sandra was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group in London, leading the UK corporate and the global leveraged finance franchise.
Sandra joined Moody’s in 2013, bringing 20 years of banking experience. Prior to Moody’s, Sandra worked at Credit Suisse, where she was the Head of Rating Advisory for EMEA since 2010, after holding senior positions in the rating advisory teams at Morgan Stanley and Citi.
Sandra began her career at Dresdner Bank in Germany.
Sandra holds a Diploma from the Frankfurt Business School of Finance & Management.
Thorsten Klotz heads a team of Moody’s primary analysts in the EMEA region mainly reviewing Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDOs)(including Balance Sheet CLOs), granular ABS SME transactions and Asset Backed Commercial Paper(ABCP).Thorsten Klotz has been lead analyst on various transactions, including CDOs of ABS, Leveraged Loan CLOs and German SME loan securitisations.Before joining Moody’s in 2002, Thorsten Klotz was a Senior Derivatives Structurer at CDC IXIS Capital Markets where he was responsible for the development and pricing of interest rate and inflation linked structures. Prior to this role, he was working as a trader for callable bonds and equity linked structures at DZ BANK(former DG BANK).Thorsten Klotz holds a degree in managerial economics (University of Passau) withmain options in insurance & risk theory, finance and statistics.
| Iván Palacios is an Associate Managing Director within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group and he has responsibility for a team of analysts in Madrid and Milan covering the TMT, consumer goods, food and beverage sectors in the EMEA region. Iván joined Moody’s in 2002 and he has worked in Madrid and Singapore. Prior to joining Moody’s, Iván worked for Goldman Sachs in London. Iván has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros in Madrid. |
Sven Reinke is a Managing Director in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Sven is responsible for a team on London-based Lead Analysts covering Commodities, TMT and Business and Consumer Services sectors. Sven joined Moody’s in the autumn of 2013 with 12 years’ experience in a number of different corporate credit roles. During his first nine years at Moody’s, Sven was a Lead Analyst covering a number of different corporate sectors.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Sven spent six years as a Senior Corporate Credit Officer at UBS Investment Bank in London responsible for the credit risk management of a portfolio of corporates in different industries. Before joining UBS, Sven was the Lead Credit Analyst for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi’s German and Benelux blue chip counterparties. At the start of his career, Sven spent four years as a Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank’s German mid-cap credit risk department.
Sven has a Masters Degree in Economics with focus on finance and banking from The Berlin School of Economics and Law. Sven also passed all levels of the CFA Program.
Patrick is a VP – Senior Credit Officer within Moody’s covered bond team. He
had initially joined Moody’s Frankfurt office as an CMBS analyst in the year 2006
and rejoined Moody’s in 2008 to work in the covered bond team. Between spells
at Moody’s Patrick worked as an asset manager at DekaBank in Frankfurt. Earlier
in his career he worked in the bank audit team of Ernst & Young.
Patrick studied Finance and Accounting at Frankfurt/Germany and
Southampton/UK University with the degree Diplom-Kaufmann. Patrick holds
a certificate as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and is a Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA).
| Heiko Peters is a Vice President in the Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group, and is based in the Frankfurt office. He has Lead Analyst responsibilities for a number of European sovereigns and supra-nationals, producing ratings and research related to their creditworthiness. Heiko joined Moody’s from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was Senior Economist - Vice President in the European Economics Team of Deutsche Bank Research for more than five years. He published research on economic and political topics, including global trade, labour markets, demographics and migration, and covered in particular the economies of Germany and Austria. Prior to that he had worked from 2009 to 2011 as an Economist for the German Council of Economic Experts in Wiesbaden, reporting to the Chair of the Council. Moreover, his professional background includes stints at the Deutsche Bundesbank (Visiting Researcher), Germany’s Monopolies Commission and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), both as a Visiting Fellow. He holds a PhD, a Master’s level diploma and a BSc in Economics from the University of Muenster. |
Michael Rohr is a Senior Vice President and member of the Financial Institutions Group. Based in Frankfurt, he is responsible for Moody’s ratings for a variety of large financial institutions – including the investment banks – in Switzerland and Germany. Michael joined Moody’s in March 2012.
Prior to his current function, Michael spent 16 years in equity research, asset management and retail banking, holding various positions at both sell-side and buy-side equity research firms and universal banking institutions focused on analyzing European banks.
Michael received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Akademie Norddeutscher Genossenschaften (co-operative banks university) in Northern Germany.
