Myriam Durand is Global Head of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) for Moody’s Ratings, overseeing the development of rating opinions and research on corporates worldwide.

Before this, Myriam served as Global Head of MIS Assessments (MISA). She supported its creation and built the assets, capabilities and talent for thought leadership and strategic vision for the group, including overseeing the majority investments in Vigeo Eiris and 427. MISA’s mission was to develop risk assessment offerings beyond credit ratings with primary focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG).

Previously, she led CFG in EMEA and also spearheaded MIS’s ESG efforts in the EMEA region, helping to incorporate ESG risks into credit analysis, and representing MIS at COP21 and COP23. Myriam has also been MIS Country Manager for France since 2015, overseeing MIS’s activities in the country. 

Sarah has been the lead analyst for most countries in the European Union, and is also a former lead analyst for the United States. She is currently the lead analyst for France and Italy, among other European countries. She is also one of the Sovereign Risk Group’s global spokespeople. 

She joined Moody’s in 2009 after completing a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School. Prior to this academic sabbatical, she spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority in London where she headed the regulator’s Risk Analysis area and acted as its chief macroeconomist. Before joining the FSA, she worked in Dun & Bradstreet’s Economic Analysis Group for six years, where she was the organisation’s Deputy Chief Economist. 

She holds an MA in European Studies (with a concentration in Economics and Finance) from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and an AB with a double major in Government and History from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in the United States. She is a CFA Charterholder and is co-chair of the Macroeconomic Committee of the CFA Society France. She is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States and is based in Paris.

Michala  Marcussen  assumed  the  role  of  Societe  Generale’s  Group  Chief Economist in September 2017 and leads a team of over 40 economists and sector engineers in her role as Head of Economic and Sector Research in the Risk  Division.  She  is  a  member  of  Societe  Generale’s  Group  Management Committee and has been with the Group since 1994. She began her career with  Den  Danske  Bank  in  1986  and  has  worked  in  Copenhagen,  Brussels, London and Paris. With over 35 years of experience in the financial industry, she is a frequentcommentator  in  the  economic  debate  and  has  done  extensive  work  on European  integration,  the  long-term  economic  outlook,  fair  value  of  interest rates, pension savings, inflation and environmental issues. She maintains ties to academia and presently teaches a course on climate change and bank risk management at HEC.Michala Marcussen holds  a  Master  of Science  in  Economics  from  theUniversity  of  Copenhagen  and  is  a  CFA charterholder.  She is  a  member  of the  SUERF  (European  Money  and Finance  Forum)  Council  of  Management and was appointed to the French High Council of Public Finances (HCFP) in September 2020 for a term of five years.

Olivier Panis is an Associate Managing Director in the EMEA Financial Institutions Group based in Paris, covering a portfolio of European Global Investment Banks (GIBs) and other banks in France and Benelux. 

Olivier joined Moody’s in Dubai in 2013 where he assumed responsibility for a portfolio of financial institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) and North Africa. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, he was heading the Portfolio Management team for Corporate Banking Emerging Markets at Barclays. He started his career as a financial analyst at the French Ministry of Finance in Paris. Olivier Panis holds a MSc in Economics from the Université PARIS I (Sorbonne).

Colin Ellis is Moody’s first Global Credit Strategist, and a Managing Director in the Credit Strategy team. 

In his current role, Colin provides thought leadership for the rating agency that deepens the understanding of ratings and debt capital markets through rigorous and quantitative research. He leads Moody’s teams working on default and ratings analytics and on global financial analysis, including bank projections and stress testing. Colin is also a member of Moody’s Macroeconomic Board, which sets the global forecasts that underpin Moody’s universe of ratings.

Colin joined Moody’s in February 2012, initially leading the work of the Macroeconomic Board and authoring the quarterly Global Macro Outlook. He subsequently worked in the Financial Institutions Group, developing quantitative forward-looking analyses. For 8 years he was the Chief Credit Officer for EMEA, leading analysis and coordination of credit and ratings across all rating franchises in the region. He was also the ‘Head of UK’ for Moody's Ratings, responsible for the running of Moody’s UK operations, from 2019-2022 including the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Prior to joining Moody’s, Colin held roles at the Bank of England, Daiwa Capital Markets, the BVCA and at Birmingham University. He has published papers on a range of topics including corporate investment and pricing, credit risk, private equity, data uncertainty, stress testing, financial contagion and monetary policy. Colin holds degrees from York University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Middlesex University. He is a Visiting Professor at Hult International Business School and LSBU, and is also a Fellow of the RSA.

Philippe Setbon is Chief Executive Officer for Natixis Investment Managers. He began his career in 1990 as a financial analyst with Barclays Bank in Paris, before working for Groupe Azur-GMF for 10 years as Head of Asset Management.

He then joined Generali Group in 2004 where he held a succession of senior roles including CEO of Generali Investments France, CEO of Generali Investments Europe Sgr and Chief Investment Officer for the whole of the Generali Group.

He joined Groupama in 2013 as CEO of Groupama Asset Management. He became CEO of Ostrum Asset Management in 2019.

Philippe Setbon was elected President of the French Asset Management Association (AFG) in June 2022. He holds a Master and a Post-Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University and is a graduate of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF).

Nick Hill is a Managing Director and heads the Credit Strategy & Guidance function within the Credit Strategy & Standards division in Moody’s Ratings. 

Based in Paris, he joined Moody’s in March 2010, initially heading the France / BeNeLux banking team. 

Since then he has managed successively larger teams, led the global revision of Moody’s bank rating methodology, which was published in 2015, and latterly was co-head of the global banking team. 

Prior to joining Moody’s, Nick worked as a bank analyst in a variety of roles. These include banking supervision at the Bank of England and Financial Services Authority, where he began his career; sell-side equity research on French banks in a #1 ranked team at Morgan Stanley; rating UK and continental European banks at Standard & Poor’s; and providing balance sheet advice to financial institutions with RBS. 

A graduate of Christ’s College, University of Cambridge in the UK, Nick holds an MA in English, a diploma in French, and a postgraduate certificate in Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.   

Yasmina Serghini is a Managing Director in Moody’s Rating's Corporate Finance Group. She manages the teams in Madrid, Milan and Paris that are responsible for investment grade and high yield companies primarily in the TMT, retail, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, packaged goods, railways and postal services industries.

Since joining Moody’s in 2005, Yasmina has been in charge of the credit ratings of automotive and truck manufacturers, retail, consumer packaged goods companies, including beverages and business services companies. Prior to joining Moody’s, Yasmina worked for Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne as a credit risk analyst where she had responsibilities for the analysis of companies mainly in the airlines, telecoms and real estate industries as well as aircraft and shipping financings. Yasmina is a CFA charterholder. 

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma (“DESS”) in Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and has a university degree (majoring in Finance) from Dauphine University (Paris). She is fluent in English, French and Moroccan.

Marie Fischer-Sabatié is a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) team based in Paris. Marie has lead responsibility for a portfolio of European pharmaceutical companies and food retailers.

During her tenure at Moody’s, Marie has covered a number of sectors, including Consumer Packaged Goods, Shipping, Business Services across Europe, when she was based in Paris between 2001 and 2016, and Telecom and Mining in Latin America, when she was based in Mexico City between 2016 and 2020.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2001, Marie worked at Santander in Chile and Crédit Lyonnais in New York. She is a graduate of ESCP (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris).

Yasuko has lead responsibility over a portfolio of French, Dutch and Belgian Banks. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2011, Yasuko spent ten years at Societe Generale Asset Management (SGAM), the last seven of which as a buy side credit analyst covering financial institutions. Prior to this, she worked for seven years as a financial auditor with Ernst & Young in Paris. 

Yasuko is graduate of Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) in France. Yasuko is also a CFA charterholder.

Benjamin Leyre is a senior analyst in the EMEA Infrastructure Finance Group, based in Paris. He has responsibility for a portfolio of Southern European utilities, including unregulated electric and gas utilities, and regulated electric and gas networks. Benjamin has a wide range of utility experience acquired through a number of roles which he uses to comment on sector credit themes. Moody’s has a leading global Infrastructure Finance franchise, rating some US$2trillion of corporate and project finance securities, representing more than 90% of all public bonds globally in the sector. 140 analytical staff cover more than 1,000infrastructure issuers globally. Moody’s EMEA team of 50 specialists is responsible for rating 416 issuers. The rating agency covers more than 11,000 corporate issuers and 135 sovereign nations. Before joining Moody’s, Benjamin worked for Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, where he was heading the global energy team, and managing the fund’s European utilities equity portfolio. Prior to this, he worked as an equity analyst for ExaneBNP Paribas, as the head of its European utilities team, with direct coverage of large European corporates. Benjamin also worked as a senior consultant with IHS CERA, where he provided strategic advice to utilities, banks and governmental institutions in the US and in Europe, and where he kick-started the consultancy European environmental practice. Benjamin holds an M.Sc in Technology and Policy from M.I.T. and a M.Eng in mechanical Engineering and Energy Economics from Ecole des Mines de Paris. He is fluent in English and French.
