Simon Harris is a Managing Director at Moody’s. Simon’s current role is focused on Moody’s consolidated offerings to the Insurance industry – including the ratings services provided by Moody’s Investors Service, and the data, software and models provided by Moody’s Analytics.

Previously, Simon led Moody’s Ratings Global Financial Institutions Group for 5 years, steering the ratings and research work of Moody’s Ratings Insurance, Banking and Asset Management teams globally, having previously led the Ratings Global Insurance team. Simon joined Moody’s Ratings in 1998 after qualifying as an Actuary and working in the UK Insurance market. Simon is Fellow of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), and holds a BA in Economics from Leeds University.

Brandan is a SVP-Ratings in the EMEA Insurance Team, with analytical responsibility for a range of (re)insurance ratings across the EMEA region.

Brandan joined Moody’s New York office in 2010, as an analyst responsible for a diverse portfolio of US insurance and reinsurance companies. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was Assured Guaranty Ltd., responsible for accounting policy and transaction advisory services. Brandan started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa, later transferring to the New York office where he was a manager in the Assurance practice, primarily responsible for the audits of life insurance companies. Brandan holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pretoria and a MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Certified Public Accountant (NY).

Joe is Managing Director and Head of Casualty and Financial Lines at Moody’s Insurance Solutions, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. His group are charged with developing forward-looking Casualty and Financial Lines risk intelligence that support profitable underwriting and sustainable portfolio development. Previously, Joe supported Moody’s Insurance Solutions commercial strategy, portfolio governance, and acquisition programs.

Bernhard Kaufmann started his career as a credit risk manager at HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit) in Munich, Germany, in 1999, before joining Munich Re Group in 2000, where he held several leadership positions, including Head of Treasury. From 2008 to 2013, he was Chief Risk Officer at ERGO Insurance Group in Düsseldorf, Germany, before rejoining Munich Re Group as Group Chief Risk Officer. In 2020, Bernhard Kaufmann joined NN Group in The Hague, Netherlands, as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Management Board. In 2024, he joined Helvetia Group in St. Gallen, Switzerland, as Group Chief Risk Officer and member of the Executive Management. Bernhard Kaufmann joined Swiss Re in October 2025 as Group Chief Risk Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee.

Mr. Cloutier joined Fairfax in 1999 as Vice President and Chief Actuary, becoming Vice President, International Operations in 2009 to present, and is Chairman of Fairfax International from 2013 to present. From 1990 – 1999, he was Vice President Actuarial Services of Lombard Canada Limited, a Canadian property and casualty insurance company. From 1987 – 1990, Mr. Cloutier was an actuarial analyst at Halifax Insurance and from 1986-1987 he was an actuarial assistant at Dominion of Canada Insurance Company.

Mr. Cloutier received his bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences from Laval University. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Kelly Superczynski is the Global head of the Capital Advisory team within Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business.  Capital Advisory encompasses the Rating Agency Advisory, ReSolutions structured reinsurance and Corporate Finance teams.  Together, these capital experts develop and deliver unique, value-added advisory support and balance sheet solutions to our clients that focus on effective and efficient capital management and earnings volatility management.  Kelly has been with Aon for 20 years, spending time in Chicago, Toronto, Paris and most recently London, in leadership positions within Analytics and Strategy Consulting.  Kelly is a CPA and started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers after graduating from Marquette University.
