Alicia Yang is the Managing Director of Sales for Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore, responsible for driving business growth and strategic priorities for the region. She’s most passionate about building a diversified sales team that could represent and convey Moody’s story to the world, and help clients find the solutions to decode risk & unlock opportunities. Alicia is also a key advocate and ambassador of Diversity and Inclusion at Moody’s. She serves as the chair for Women In Sales (WIS) for APAC & ME and Singapore Country Lead for the GenERGy (Generation BRG) Business Resources Group since 2022.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Alicia held various positions in sales, project management & delivery, business analysis, product strategy & management across government, corporate and banking industry. With her diverse background and experience in sales brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to her role at Moody’s.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in System management from National University of Malaysia.
Steven G. Cochrane, PhD, is Chief APAC Economist with Moody’s. He leads the Asia economic analysis and forecasting activities of the Moody’s research team, as well as the continual expansion of the company’s international, national and subnational forecast models. In addition, Steve directs consulting projects for clients to help them understand the effect of regional economic developments on their business under baseline forecasts and alternative scenarios. Steve’s expertise lies in providing clear insights into an area’s or region’s strengths, weaknesses and comparative advantages, relative to macro or global economic trends.
A highly-regarded speaker, Dr. Cochrane has provided economic insights at hundreds of engagements over the past 20 years and has been featured on CNBC, CNA, Bloomberg TV, Wall Street Radio, and the PBS News Hour. Through his research and presentations, Steve dissects how various components of the macro and regional economies shape patterns of growth. His extensive expertise on U.S. and global economic issues makes also him a popular speaker at client conferences and executive briefings.
Steve holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Penn Institute for Urban Research Scholar. He also holds a master's degree from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis.
David Hamilton is a financial economist with a passion for broadening understanding of risk and credit markets. Dr. Hamilton currently serves as Managing Director, Head of Research & Analytics, in the Predictive Analytics team based in New York. From 2015-2020, Dr. Hamilton held the post of Managing Director, Head of Credit Risk Analytics for the Asia Pacific Region, based in Singapore. He has held various senior positions in both Moody’s Investors Service and Moody’s Analytics over his 26-year career with Moody's. He has worked across different asset classes, including corporates, high-yield, financial institutions, sovereigns, public finance, structured finance, and digital assets, and across divisions, including quantitative research, credit policy, business development and customer success. Prior to joining Moody’s in 1997, David worked in the Regional Economics group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
Khoo Boon Hui served as Senior Deputy Secretary of Singapore’s Home Affairs Ministry, and was for 12 years the Police Commissioner of Singapore from 1997 to 2010 well as President of INTERPOL from 2008 to 2012.
He remains active in INTERPOL, chairing its Governance Standing Committee and is a member of the Aspen Global Cyber Group. He also serves on the executive and advisory boards of various cybersecurity, security, consultancy and financial institutions, eg Certis Group, Ensign Infosecurity, Global Cyber Alliance, Palo Alto Networks, Arqit Quantum, CyberPeace Institute, Altana AI, Rosario AI, Horus Security APAC, Security Matters, Cellebrite APAC, SDAX Digital Assets Exchange, TRM Labs, Infocepts, Quantexa, Deloitte SEA, Neurowyzr, YMCA and Singapore Symphony Orchestra. He was a Commissioner on the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace and an advisor of Singapore’s Home Team Academy, Standard Chartered Bank, International Centre for Sports Security and a board member of Ministry of Health Holdings, Singhealth, ST Engineering and Casino Regulatory Authority.
He is a Senior Fellow of Singapore’s Civil Service College, an Honorary Fellow of St John’s College, Oxford, and a Justice of Peace. In recognition of his contributions to public service and safety, he has been decorated with high national honours from Singapore, Australia, Brunei, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and The Vatican. He was educated in Oxford, Harvard and Wharton.
Thomas Lee brings 14 years of expertise in the marine fuel industry to his current role. As a leader within his organization, he spearheads transformative initiatives aimed at embracing digital solutions, such as SGTradex and Auctionconnect.
Prior to joining KPI Oceanconnect, Thomas served as the APAC Regional Head at Bunker Holding. In this capacity, he focused on providing tailored bunker solutions to large shipping companies, emphasizing risk management, trading, and physical supply. His efforts facilitated collaboration and compliance, crucial for supporting sustainable growth and development in bunkering activities across the APAC region.
Before delving into the marine fuel sector, Thomas honed his skills in the Middle East as a senior consultant in transportation infrastructure segment. His expertise centered on project and bid management. Thomas Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Melbourne.
Frankie Phua is the Managing Director and Head of Group Risk Management at UOB. In this role, he oversees all risk management matters for UOB Group including credit risk, market risk, balance sheet risk, operational risk, risk strategy, fraud risk, technology risk, product control and risk analytics. Prior to joining UOB Risk Management, Frankie spent more than 10 years in the frontline in Corporate/Commercial banking.
Frankie, a seasoned risk practitioner, is an active contributor to the risk management community. For the past 10 years, he has been the Chairman and a Director of the Board of the Singapore Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA), an organization associated with RMA USA. He is appointed by Risk Management Institute (RMI), National University of Singapore (NUS) as a lecturer for the Specialist Diploma course in Credit Risk Management – Corporate Banking. He is also regularly engaged by NUS RMI to teach customized risk management courses.
Frankie was conferred the IBF Distinguished Fellow Award in Risk Management. The "IBF Distinguished Fellow" is a prestigious title conferred upon industry leaders who are the epitome of professional stature, integrity, and achievement. The Distinguished Fellows serve as a beacon of excellence for the industry.
Olga Loiseau-Aslanidi is a Managing Director in the Predictive Analytics team. She leads Integrated Risks research and coordinates the efforts of Regional Senior Leaders across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Her role drives impactful research innovation in Moody's solutions, ensuring they are locally relevant while maintaining global strategic alignment. Based in Dubai, with previous stints in Singapore and Europe, Dr. Loiseau-Aslanidi has been with Moody's since 2010.
A trusted advisor to senior leaders worldwide, Olga specializes in building organizational resilience across various risk disciplines. Her expertise spans quantitative research in credit risk and macroeconomics, business development, and customer experience. She has a proven track record in building high-performing teams, developing frameworks, and implementing complex systems and analytics for clients located around the world.
Olga holds a double Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics and Econometrics from CERGE-EI New York and Charles University in the Czech Republic. She completed studies for M.Sc. in Mathematics and holds a B.Sc. with honors in Applied Mathematics.
Jewel Myrtel Bautista is a Subject Matter Expert within the Moody’s Risk and Finance Analytics practice across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Her key areas of focus are end to end Credit Risk Assessment and optimization, ESG and Climate Risk managementand sustainable lending practice. Jewel is well versed with the global as well as local regulatory regimes impacting lending considerations as well as ESG and climate factors relevant to lending.
Since joining Moody’s, she has been working closely alongside with some of the leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific to streamline credit assessment process. Her most recent areas of work includes provide guidance and thought leadership and development of approaches for integration of ESG and climate risk considerations as part of the banks’ lending processes.
Prior to Moody’s, Jewel has worked with multiple financial institutions in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam where she managed and provided a comprehensive credit assessment solution. She has worked with one of the largest banks in the region where her primary mandate included providing an optimal solution that incorporates both regulatory policies and internal credit policies in the bank’s end-to-end credit lifecycle process and overall risk management.

Concurrently David is an external advisor to Singapore's Corrupt Investigation Practices Bureau (CPIB) in the capacity of Senior Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) and to Singapore's Central Provident Fund Board (CPF) in the capacity of Senior Advisor (Data Science).
Prior to his current roles, David was Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) first appointed Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group reporting to the agency Deputy Managing Director for Financial Supervision and subsequently Special Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) reporting to Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development. In these roles he led the development of the AI strategy both for MAS and Singapore’s financial sector as well as driving efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows.
David holds a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Machine Learning from the University of Southampton and graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Donald leads the OCBC Group Data Office function across Asia.
Group Data Office is responsible for driving value from OCBC’s data assets.
We apply Analytical & Generative AI to generate new revenue streams, lower costs, reduce risk and improve customer experience across all areas of OCBC Group.
As the Analytics CoE, we also enable other analytics teams across OCBC - through development of our next-generation analytics stack, group data strategy and empowering employees with data literacy skills.
Capabilities within Data Office include Data Strategy, Analytics Translation, Analytics, The AI Lab and Data Engineering.
An industry veteran with 30 years of international experience in Analytics roles.
Donald started in the early days of Data Mining in Standard Life, consulted for PwC & IBM before joining OCBC to lead their data transformation journey.
Dimitrios is leading Moody’s Generative AI initiatives across regions as head of Digital & Advanced Analytics. He is also the Head of the Industry Practice Group in Moody’s Analytics, leading the Asia & Middle East Subject Matter Expert teams helping institutions in the broad areas of Enterprise-wide Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Stress Testing and ESG & Climate risk. Over the last few years, his teams have been focusing increasingly more on guiding banks and financial institutions in their sustainability journey. Particular areas of focus include the quantification of climate risk impact on credit risk, regulatory climate stress testing exercises, and incorporation of ESG & Climate Risk into an institution’s risk management framework.
During his time in Moody’s and prior to his move to Asia, Dimitrios led the efforts on designing and successfully implementing IFRS 9 modelling and software solutions for more than 50 banks in Europe and Middle East. Prior to joining Moody’s in January 2016, Dimitrios worked as Senior Technical Specialist at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) in London. During that time, he led the internal stress testing model development across the majority of risk types, with a particular focus on wholesale credit risk globally, retail credit risk in the UK and econometric models for key ALM risk metrics. Before joining the PRA, he was part of UBS Group-wide Stress Testing Team where he developed stress testing models for the held to maturity assets of the investment banking arm. Prior to his time at UBS he held various modelling positions at the former Financial Services Authority (FSA), Lloyd’s Banking Group and HBOS.
Dimitrios holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh Business School and an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM) since 2006 and tutored at University of Edinburgh where he has conducted extensive research on credit risk modelling and the interaction between credit risk and the real economy.
