Gilles Marchesin Founder and CEO Chorus Capital

Gilles is the founder and CEO of Chorus Capital and has 27 years of experience in the credit markets, including 15 years covering the banking sector in France and Belgium on both the public and the private side. Prior to founding Chorus Capital, he was at Goldman Sachs International since 1999 where he was a key contributor in building the firm’s franchise in credit derivatives-based transactions, notably in bank regulatory capital and long-term secured funding. He executed his first risk-sharing transaction in 2001. From 1997 to 1999, Gilles worked for Swiss Bank Corporation/UBS in London, primarily covering banks. He was involved in the execution of the bank’s inaugural risk-sharing transactions. Prior to that, Gilles was a credit analyst at Banque Paribas in Toronto from 1995 to 1997, covering several industries including banks.

Gilles holds an engineering degree (MSc) from École Nationale Supérieure des mines de Paris (France) with a Major in Project Management and Product Design.

Philipp Lotter Managing Director, Global Ratings & Research Moody's Ratings

Philipp Lotter is Managing Director – Global Ratings and Research,based in London. He is responsible for the development of MIS ratings and research opinions for global fundamental and structured finance ratings groups,and the delivery of services to issuers and the market.

Prior to assuming this role in November 2019, he was Global Head and before that EMEA Co-Head of the Corporate Finance Group.

Philipp has spent many years of his career abroad with strong Emerging and Developing Markets coverage experience. He spent more than 5 years in Asia, where he he ldthe dual role of Country Manager for Moody’s office in Singapore, as well as Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Group responsible for companies across Southeast Asia and India.

Before that, Philipp spent more than 3 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,where he was responsible for setting up the Moody’s office in Dubai and for the ratings of Middle Eastern corporate issuers across all sectors, including Islamic finance. Having joined Moody’s in London in 2003, Philipp started as an analyst covering utilities and the oil & gas industry.

Before joining Moody’s, Philipp spent 3 years in rating advisory at Citigroup.His career has also included positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London and Frankfurt in rating advisory, bond and credit research, and leveraged financing. Philipp holds a Diploma from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He has also attended international semesters at the European Business School in London and University College Dublin.

Marc R. Pinto, CFA Managing Director, Global Head of Private Credit and Insurance Moody's Ratings

Marc Pinto oversees Global Private Credit, Insurance, Asset Management and Funds ratings and research. His extensive career in the fixed income credit markets, in New York and London, has included leadership roles within Moody’s for over a decade and at sell-side and buy-side firms including Merrill Lynch, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and Susquehanna International.

At Moody’s, Mr. Pinto is deeply committed to educational and empowerment initiatives, acting as an Executive Sponsor for Moody's CFA and Global Administrative Professionals Networks, a Mentor Advisor in the Women’s Business Resource Group and frequent participant in career development seminars.

Antonello Aquino Managing Director, Financial Institutions Moody's Ratings

Antonello Aquino is the Managing Director for EMEA Private Credit & Insurance and MEA banking at Moody’s Ratings. In this role, he is responsible for Moody’s analytic team maintaining Moody’s ratings on EMEA Private Credit, insurers and MEA banks.   

Antonello joined Moody’s in 2008 as a senior insurance analyst covering some of the major European (re)insurers. Prior to Moody’s, Antonello was responsible for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) rating advisory practise at Credit Suisse in Europe. His prior experience includes roles as a senior analyst at Standard & Poor's and positions in the FIG M&A teams at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) and ABN AMRO.

Antonello holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is alumnus of the London Business School. He graduated in business administration cum laude from Bocconi University in Italy. Antonello is fluent in English, Italian and French.

Jeanine Arnold Senior Vice President, EMEA Leveraged Finance, Corporate Finance Moody’s Ratings

Jeanine Arnold oversees the Moody's EMEA Leveraged Finance franchise and co-ordinates Leveraged Finance globally. She is part of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) and Moody's Global Private Credit team with responsibility for EMEA corporates based in London.

Jeanine's primary responsibility is for ratings consistency and accuracy of leveraged finance issuer ratings across EMEA and in collaboration with other regions. She also has responsibility for leveraged finance research and thought leadership as well as investor, banking and private equity outreach. She heads up the Global Leveraged Finance Data and Analytics strategy, which underpins Moody’s research and outreach initiatives.

Prior to Jeanine's current role, she led the Paris-based CFG team, which was responsible for a wide range of credits across the healthcare, retail, transportation, IT, gaming and business and consumer services industries.

During her time at Moody’s Jeanine has been a lead analyst for European Airlines and Aerospace and Defense companies as well as investment holding companies, manufacturing and semiconductor companies.

Prior to joining Moody’s Jeanine was a Director at Fitch Ratings based in London, specializing in the rating of transportation names across Europe, the CIS and Middle East, including Rail, Airlines, Shipping and Ports. Prior to this, she worked in the credit risk management and investment banking teams of Bank of America Merrill Lynch as well as RBS, where she managed credit finance transactions for European Industrials within the Automotive, Chemical and Manufacturing sectors.

Jeanine qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 from Ernst and Young in London and has a Joint Honors degree in French and German from the University of Nottingham.

Christina Padgett Associate Managing Director, Head of Leveraged Finance Research and Analytics Moody's Ratings

Christina Padgett leads the Leveraged Finance Research and Analytics Team and Private Credit Research. Her remit includes facilitating in-depth, cross-disciplinary research on credit trends in the US leveraged finance, US private equity and global private markets. Ms. Padgett brings multi-cycle expertise in the credit markets to her role, which is informed by frequent meetings with issuers, investors, regulators, alternative asset managers, and bankers. She presents often at industry conferences and is regularly quoted in the financial media.

Before joining Moody’s, Ms. Padgett was an M&A investment banker at JPMorgan Chase. At the bank, she also worked in Europe Corporate Finance and Credit Audit following the completion of the bank’s credit training program.

Ms. Padgett received a M.A. in International Political Economy from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in History from William Smith College.

Andrea Daniels Associate Managing Director, Structured Finance Group Moody's Investors Service

Andrea Daniels is an Associate Managing Director and leads the EMEA Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) team. Prior to joining the team in London in2011, she was a team leader in the US CMBS surveillance team responsible for large loan and single borrower transactions. Since joining Moody’s in 1998, Andrea has rated various fixed and floating rate US CMBS transactions. Prior to joining Moody’s, Andrea worked as an Asset Manager within the Real Estate group at Aetna in Hartford, Connecticut.  Ms. Daniels has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Connecticut.

Rory Callagy Associate Managing Director, Global Head of Funds & Asset Management Moody's Ratings

Rory is currently responsible for Moody’s Funds & Asset Management ratings practice in the Americas. This includes ratings on over 60 asset managers and 400 investment funds across 5 countries. He joined Moody’s Global Managed Investments Group in1998, working on analysis of investment funds. Rory regularly speaks at industry conferences on trends and developments in the asset management sector. He holds a BA in Government from Georgetown University

Sven Reinke Managing Director, Corporate Finance Moody’s Ratings

Sven Reinke is a Managing Director in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Sven is responsible for a team on London-based Lead Analysts covering Commodities, TMT and Business and Consumer Services sectors. Sven joined Moody’s in the autumn of 2013 with 12 years’ experience in a number of different corporate credit roles. During his first nine years at Moody’s, Sven was a Lead Analyst covering a number of different corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Sven spent six years as a Senior Corporate Credit Officer at UBS Investment Bank in London responsible for the credit risk management of a portfolio of corporates in different industries. Before joining UBS, Sven was the Lead Credit Analyst for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi’s German and Benelux blue chip counterparties. At the start of his career, Sven spent four years as a Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank’s German mid-cap credit risk department.

Sven has a Masters Degree in Economics with focus on finance and banking from The Berlin School of Economics and Law. Sven also passed all levels of the CFA Program.

Vanessa Robert Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Funds & Asset Management Moody's Ratings

Vanessa is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in the Funds & Asset Management group, based in Paris. She joined Moody’s in 1998. She is Team Leader in EMEA and Asia Pacific, responsible for analysing and rating:» money market and bond mutual funds;» the credit and the management quality of asset management companies. Vanessa is also responsible for coordinating fund monitoring globally. She is also a member of the Moody’s EMEA Environmental, Social and Governance(ESG) working group. Vanessa holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from University Laval of Quebec, Canada and is also a graduate from EDHEC (Ecole de HautesEtudes Commerciales du Nord), a French Business School. She holds a SFAF diploma (i.e. the French equivalent to the CFA).

Barbara Rismondo Associate Managing Director, Structured Finance Moody's Ratings

Barbara is the Co-Team Leader of the RMBS New Ratings Team in EMEA. Before this Barbara held the position of the Team Leader in EMEA RMBS Surveillance. She started in Moody’s in 2002 and has since then covered a large variety of products and markets. Barbara originally comes from the banking industry, where she mainly focused on working with derivative products.

Barbara holds an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London and a Laurea in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste.

Thorsten Klotz Managing Director, Structured Finance Moody's Ratings

Thorsten Klotz heads a team of Moody’s primary analysts in the EMEA region mainly reviewing Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDOs)(including Balance Sheet CLOs), granular ABS SME transactions and Asset Backed Commercial Paper(ABCP).Thorsten Klotz has been lead analyst on various transactions, including CDOs of ABS, Leveraged Loan CLOs and German SME loan securitisations.Before joining Moody’s in 2002, Thorsten Klotz was a Senior Derivatives Structurer at CDC IXIS Capital Markets where he was responsible for the development and pricing of interest rate and inflation linked structures. Prior to this role, he was working as a trader for callable bonds and equity linked structures at DZ BANK(former DG BANK).Thorsten Klotz holds a degree in managerial economics (University of Passau) withmain options in insurance & risk theory, finance and statistics.

Andreas Botterbusch Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Structured Finance Moody's Ratings

Andreas Botterbusch is an Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Structured Finance Group at Moody’s Investors Service in Frankfurt. He covers European Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDOs), ABS SME transactions and Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP).Prior to joining Moody’s in January 2014, Andreas was a senior risk analyst at West LB AG, where he worked on European securitisation transactions of different asset classes, including trade receivables, leases, consumer loans and nonperforming loans. He was also responsible for the Compass ABCP programme.  Andreas Botterbusch started his career at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA. Kevin Maddick Associate Managing Director, Project Infrastructure Finance Moody's Ratings

Kevin Maddick joined Moody’s in 2017, and has responsibility for a team of analysts covering project finance and infrastructure in EMEA. He has extensive experience in the financing of infrastructure and energy assets, as debt provider, as equity investor, and as financial advisor. He has structured, arranged or advised on over 200 project, secured corporate and asset financings globally. Kevin has also acted as Board Director of a portfolio of operating companies and of an investment holding company. Kevin was previously Head of Infrastructure and a Managing Director at NatWest, leading origination, execution, and financial modelling teams for debt, equity and advisory, during a 17-year period with the bank. Before that Kevin was responsible for new equity investments for 3 years whilst at Balfour Beatty Capital. Kevin spent the early 10 years of his career with Peninsular and Oriental Shipping, chartering tanker and dry bulk vessels worldwide, and in ship sale, purchase, financing and leasing, based in Europe and Asia. Kevin is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Management Accountant, a Chartered Shipbroker, and has an MA in Geography from Oxford University.

Ramzi Kattan Vice President – Senior Credit Officer, Corporate Finance Moody's Ratings

Ramzi is a Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group in London focused on real estate.

He joined Moody’s in February 2011 as a lead analyst in EMEA CMBS responsible for analysing and rating a large variety of commercial mortgage backed transactions across all EMEA jurisdictions and property types. Ramzi’s responsibilities also included researching and analysing property market data and tracking European occupational and investment market trends.

Ramzi also worked in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group’s Analytics Team, where he was instrumental in conducting successful stress tests for banks globally as well as monitoring bank asset quality.

Prior to beginning his career at Moody’s in 2011, Ramzi spent 15 years working with a variety of European banks as a real estate credit specialist, and also worked in the Middle East on real estate development projects.

Ramzi’s prior roles included working as a senior real estate credit officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland. He also worked as deputy head of portfolio management at pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank with direct risk responsibility for a large real estate finance portfolio covering a diverse range of assets including office, retail, industrial, hotels, residential, and healthcare.

Ramzi earned his MSc in Real Estate Investment from the Cass Business School. He also holds an MSc in Finance and a BA in General Management, both from Boston College.

Brian Snow VP – Senior Credit Officer, Structured Finance Moodys Ratings

Brian Snow is a Vice President – Senior Analyst at Moody’s in London. He is a lead analyst covering various issuers of CMBS across all European jurisdictions and property types. Furthermore, he is responsible for performing surveillance on a portfolio of CMBS transactions with exposure to a wide spectrum of borrowers, countries, and property types. He is also involved in the implementation of various ESG initiatives that are essential to our credit analysis. Brian regularly speaks on industry panels and participates in industry groups such as CREFC Europe and the Investment Property Forum (IPF). 

Prior to joining Moody’s EMEA CMBS team in 2021, Brian was a credit ratings analyst with a combined 15 years of experience at Moody’s (New York), DBRS/Morningstar, and Standard & Poor’s. He previously had stints in banking at GE Capital, Bank of Nova Scotia and ABN Amro. 

Prior to working in finance, Brian was a civil/environmental engineer working on the design, planning and permitting of new land developments and conducting technical due diligence on commercial property in North America. 

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
