Dan Leiter is the Head of International for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) and the Global Head of Liquid Credit Strategies based in London.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2024, Mr. Leiter worked at Morgan Stanley where he was most recently a Managing Director in Fixed Income based in London. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Leiter was globally responsible for the Securitized Products Trading and Alternative Financing businesses. He was also the head of European Securitized Products across all business lines including trading, sales, structuring and lending.

Mr. Leiter received a BA in Economics from Middlebury College where he graduated Phi-Beta-Kappa.

Ian Anderson (London) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director in the Credit business. He serves as a portfolio manager for the firm’s private credit funds and portfolios and as a member of the European Private Credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Anderson was a vice president at Lazard in the corporate finance department, advising a diverse range of European and global corporate clients on M&A transactions and restructurings. Previously, Mr. Anderson worked at Key Capital, an Irish boutique capital markets and asset management firm. Mr. Anderson holds a first class degree in Engineering from Dublin University, Trinity College and is a CFA Charterholder.

Leslie Mapondera is Partner and Co-Head of European Credit at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2019, Leslie was Head of Financial Institutions Portfolio at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and also served as Head of Investment Execution and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Before joining QIA, he worked in credit research and trading at Citigroup and Credit Suisse.

A Rhodes Scholar and Sloan Fellow, Leslie graduated from London Business School, MA in Management; University of Oxford, BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics; London School of Economics, MSc Economic History; and University of Reading, BSc (Hons) Agricultural Economics. He also attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Gilles is the founder and CEO of Chorus Capital and has 27 years of experience in the credit markets, including 15 years covering the banking sector in France and Belgium on both the public and the private side. Prior to founding Chorus Capital, he was at Goldman Sachs International since 1999 where he was a key contributor in building the firm’s franchise in credit derivatives-based transactions, notably in bank regulatory capital and long-term secured funding. He executed his first risk-sharing transaction in 2001. From 1997 to 1999, Gilles worked for Swiss Bank Corporation/UBS in London, primarily covering banks. He was involved in the execution of the bank’s inaugural risk-sharing transactions. Prior to that, Gilles was a credit analyst at Banque Paribas in Toronto from 1995 to 1997, covering several industries including banks.

Gilles holds an engineering degree (MSc) from École Nationale Supérieure des mines de Paris (France) with a Major in Project Management and Product Design.

Pavol is a Portfolio Manager in the NAV Financing & GP Solutions team where his responsibilities include selection, structuring and risk management of investments for NAV Financing strategies.

Pavol joined Pemberton in 2022. He has over 25 years of experience in finance and banking, establishing and managing diverse businesses across secured financing, structured credit & financial derivatives structuring and asset & liability management.

Prior to joining Pemberton, Pavol was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, where he established their EMEA structured financing business and was a Global Co-Head of the Financing Solutions team with a responsibility for all structured lending business. The lending portfolio included fund, bank and corporate borrowers with collateral spanning corporate & private credit, macro, local currency, commodity, equity and private equity markets. Pavol spent 19 years at J.P. Morgan in various other leadership roles during that time, including Head of EMEA Structuring & Financing Solutions.  

30 years of investment banking experience, one of the longest standing leveraged financiers in Europe.

Prior to joining MS in 2014, Ian spent 10 years running the Capital Markets business at Goldman Sachs, and 6 years running the Leveraged Capital Markets business at Merrill Lynch. Before that, in Leveraged Finance at Deutsche Bank & NatWest Markets.

Ross joined Alcentra in 2007 and is a Liquid Credit Portfolio Manager, focusing on Leveraged Loan, Multi-Asset Credit and High Yield bond portfolios. Ross is a co-Chair of Alcentra’s European Liquid Investment Committee and is a member of Alcentra’s ESG Committee. Ross has extensive experience as a credit analyst in Alcentra’s European liquid credit team covering High Yield bonds and Leveraged Loans across a broad range of sectors. Prior to joining Alcentra, Ross worked for SEI Investments and Deutsche Bank.

Ross holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Economics and Finance from Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland). Ross qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2011.

Tim Boole is Head of Product & Solutions Management for Schroders Private Equity business and co-Head of the Structuring team at Schroders Capital. His responsibilities include managing the development of new private equity funds and mandates as well as the structuring of private asset funds and solutions. He leads the development of Schroders Capital Wealth Solutions which partners with wealth managers and private banks to enable improved access to private assets.

Prior to joining Schroders Capital, Tim worked in Schroders Corporate Development team for nine years working on a number of acquisitions, including several of those that make up Schroders Capital, plus supporting other corporate strategy projects. Before joining Schroders, Tim worked at HSBC Investment Bank for seven years in Financial Institutions M&A, based in London and Tokyo. During this time he spent a one year sabbatical working with Médecins Sans Frontières as Head of Finance and HR in Burundi. He started his career at Accenture as a management consultant for two years.

Tim graduated from University of Leeds with a Bachelors degree in Economics.

Stan Hartman is the Head of EMEA HY Bond and Loan Syndicate at BNP Paribas and has 20+ years of banking experience in credit markets including capital markets, origination and restructuring roles in Europe and the US.
Over his career Stan has been responsible for 100+ transactions raising over €100bn across Sponsor and Corporate high-yield and leveraged loan transactions.

 
Stan is a CFA Charterholder and received his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Treasa Tomy (London) joined KKR in 2021 and is a member of the KKR Capital Markets team. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Tomy worked at Goldman Sachs, most recently in their EMEA leveraged finance team in London. Prior to that role, she was a member of the capital markets team, also at Goldman Sachs, specializing in EMEA emerging markets. She holds a B.A. (First Class Honours) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, India and a Master in Management (specialized in Finance) from the Indian School of Business.

Mathieu Grasmuck is Global Head of Execution, Wholesale Portfolio Management (WPM) at HSBC. He has 20 years of experience in the Credit Portfolio Management industry. He started his career at BNP Paribas, working both in London and Paris offices, originating and managing balance-sheet CLOs, and executing CDS and correlation transactions. He has been with HSBC WPM for 17 years, initially setting up the hedging and distribution activities, transacting single-name CDS, CLO tranches, and loans in the secondary market. In the last decade, Mathieu has led the team globally to broaden HSBC’s capital and risk distribution mandate, helping efforts around balance-sheet velocity for HSBC’s wholesale lending book in all its key balance-sheets worldwide. Key products having enhanced HSBC capabilities are synthetic securitisations, or Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) transactions, as well as credit insurance.

Mathieu holds a Master’s degree in Business and Finance from EM Lyon Business School.

Maria João Borges is a Senior Vice President in the investment team at Providence Equity Partners based in the London office with a particular focus on the Media & Entertainment spaces. Maria João also serves as a board member for both ATG - the world’s largest theatre company - and d&b – a leading provider of B2B premium professional loudspeakers.
Prior to joining Providence in 2019, Maria João worked as an analyst in the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan in London. Maria João received a Master of Science in International Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.
 

Philipp Lotter is the Global Head of Ratings and Research, responsible for teams which assign and monitor ratings for over 33,000 organizations and structured deals. He also oversees issuer relations, research and investor engagement. Under Philipp’s leadership, his analysts monitor debt obligations totaling nearly $76 trillion.

In over two decades with the firm, Philipp has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility across multiple continents. These included Global Head of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG), Co-Head of CFG EMEA, Head of CFG South Asia, Singapore Country Manager and founding member of the Dubai Office where he covered an array of corporates, including Islamic finance. Philipp began his career at Moody’s as an analyst covering utilities, oil and gas in London, where he is based today.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Philipp worked in investment banking at Citigroup and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He holds a Diploma from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and studied at the European Business School in London and University College Dublin.

Marc Pinto is the Global Head of Private Credit. In this role, he coordinates across the financial institutions, corporate, structured, and public and infrastructure finance rating groups to provide thought leadership, and ratings oversight in growth areas of the private credit market, including fund finance, private asset-backed securities, and privately placed investment-grade corporate assets. For over a decade, Marc has held a series of leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility at Moody’s, including Global Co-Head of Insurance and Global Head of Funds & Asset Management.

Marc is deeply committed to educational and empowerment initiatives, acting as an Executive Sponsor for Moody's CFA and Global Administrative Professionals Networks, a Mentor Advisor in the Women’s Business Resource Group, and a frequent participant in career development seminars.

Marina Albo is the Managing Director of the Corporate Finance Group for EMEA. In this role, Marina has overall responsibility for Moody’s ratings and research for the corporate franchise in the region, managing teams in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Dubai and Stockholm. Prior to this role, Marina headed the Accounting Specialists and the Consumer, Pharma and Retail teams within the EMEA Corporate Finance group, based in London. Marina joined Moody’s in 2015, after 20 years of banking experience, mainly with HSBC, where she was head of the credit risk team in charge of Leveraged Finance and TMT. Marina started her career in internal audit, moving to client management and debt advisory. In her previous roles Marina has worked in London, Paris, Cairo and Madrid. Marina holds a dual degree in Business Administration awarded by Universidad Pontificia Madrid Comillas and by Reims Business School.

Antonello Aquino is Managing Director, global co-head for Insurance, Funds and Asset Management, and EMEA Private Credit at Moody’s Ratings. He leads Moody’s analytical team responsible for maintaining credit ratings on insurers, funds, and asset managers in EMEA and North America, as well as private credit entities.

Antonello joined Moody’s in 2008 as a Senior Insurance Analyst, covering major European (re)insurers. Prior to Moody’s, he led the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) rating advisory practice at Credit Suisse in Europe. His earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst in Standard & Poor’s insurance sector, and positions within the FIG M&A teams at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) and ABN AMRO.

He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is an alumnus of London Business School. He graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Italy. Antonello is fluent in English, Italian, and French.

Sven Reinke is a Managing Director in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Sven is responsible for a team on London-based Lead Analysts covering Commodities, TMT and Business and Consumer Services sectors. Sven joined Moody’s in the autumn of 2013 with 12 years’ experience in a number of different corporate credit roles. During his first nine years at Moody’s, Sven was a Lead Analyst covering a number of different corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Sven spent six years as a Senior Corporate Credit Officer at UBS Investment Bank in London responsible for the credit risk management of a portfolio of corporates in different industries. Before joining UBS, Sven was the Lead Credit Analyst for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi’s German and Benelux blue chip counterparties. At the start of his career, Sven spent four years as a Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank’s German mid-cap credit risk department.

Sven has a Masters Degree in Economics with focus on finance and banking from The Berlin School of Economics and Law. Sven also passed all levels of the CFA Program.

Thorsten Klotz heads a team of Moody’s primary analysts in the EMEA region mainly reviewing Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDOs)(including Balance Sheet CLOs), granular ABS SME transactions and Asset Backed Commercial Paper(ABCP).Thorsten Klotz has been lead analyst on various transactions, including CDOs of ABS, Leveraged Loan CLOs and German SME loan securitisations.Before joining Moody’s in 2002, Thorsten Klotz was a Senior Derivatives Structurer at CDC IXIS Capital Markets where he was responsible for the development and pricing of interest rate and inflation linked structures. Prior to this role, he was working as a trader for callable bonds and equity linked structures at DZ BANK(former DG BANK).Thorsten Klotz holds a degree in managerial economics (University of Passau) withmain options in insurance & risk theory, finance and statistics.

Christina Padgett leads the Leveraged Finance Research and Analytics Team and Private Credit Research. Her remit includes facilitating in-depth, cross-disciplinary research on credit trends in the US leveraged finance, US private equity and global private markets. Ms. Padgett brings multi-cycle expertise in the credit markets to her role, which is informed by frequent meetings with issuers, investors, regulators, alternative asset managers, and bankers. She presents often at industry conferences and is regularly quoted in the financial media.

Before joining Moody’s, Ms. Padgett was an M&A investment banker at JPMorgan Chase. At the bank, she also worked in Europe Corporate Finance and Credit Audit following the completion of the bank’s credit training program.

Ms. Padgett received a M.A. in International Political Economy from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in History from William Smith College.

Barbara is the Co-Team Leader of the RMBS New Ratings Team in EMEA. Before this Barbara held the position of the Team Leader in EMEA RMBS Surveillance. She started in Moody’s in 2002 and has since then covered a large variety of products and markets. Barbara originally comes from the banking industry, where she mainly focused on working with derivative products.

Barbara holds an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London and a Laurea in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste.

Andrea Daniels is an Associate Managing Director and leads the EMEA Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) team. Prior to joining the team in London in2011, she was a team leader in the US CMBS surveillance team responsible for large loan and single borrower transactions. Since joining Moody’s in 1998, Andrea has rated various fixed and floating rate US CMBS transactions. Prior to joining Moody’s, Andrea worked as an Asset Manager within the Real Estate group at Aetna in Hartford, Connecticut.  Ms. Daniels has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Connecticut.

Rory is currently responsible for Moody’s Funds & Asset Management ratings practice in the Americas. This includes ratings on over 60 asset managers and 400 investment funds across 5 countries. He joined Moody’s Global Managed Investments Group in1998, working on analysis of investment funds. Rory regularly speaks at industry conferences on trends and developments in the asset management sector. He holds a BA in Government from Georgetown University

Jeanine Arnold oversees the Moody's EMEA Leveraged Finance franchise and co-ordinates Leveraged Finance globally. She is part of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) and Moody's Global Private Credit team with responsibility for EMEA corporates based in London.

Jeanine's primary responsibility is for ratings consistency and accuracy of leveraged finance issuer ratings across EMEA and in collaboration with other regions. She also has responsibility for leveraged finance research and thought leadership as well as investor, banking and private equity outreach. She heads up the Global Leveraged Finance Data and Analytics strategy, which underpins Moody’s research and outreach initiatives.

Prior to Jeanine's current role, she led the Paris-based CFG team, which was responsible for a wide range of credits across the healthcare, retail, transportation, IT, gaming and business and consumer services industries.

During her time at Moody’s Jeanine has been a lead analyst for European Airlines and Aerospace and Defense companies as well as investment holding companies, manufacturing and semiconductor companies.

Prior to joining Moody’s Jeanine was a Director at Fitch Ratings based in London, specializing in the rating of transportation names across Europe, the CIS and Middle East, including Rail, Airlines, Shipping and Ports. Prior to this, she worked in the credit risk management and investment banking teams of Bank of America Merrill Lynch as well as RBS, where she managed credit finance transactions for European Industrials within the Automotive, Chemical and Manufacturing sectors.

Jeanine qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 from Ernst and Young in London and has a Joint Honors degree in French and German from the University of Nottingham.

Raffaella Altamura is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the EMEAInfrastructure Finance team, based in London. She is currently responsible for a portfolio of transport infrastructure operators in Europe, including toll roads, airports and ports, as well as a number of project finance issuers, mostly active in the healthcare and education sectors. Raffaella is one of the most experienced analysts within the infrastructure team, with a wealth of experience across a range of sectors, jurisdictions and financing arrangements. Raffaella has authored a series of publications focused on transport infrastructure trends and operators and has been a speaker at various Moody’sconferences. Moody’s has a leading global Infrastructure Finance franchise, rating some US$2trillion of corporate and project finance securities, representing more than 90% of allpublic bonds issued globally in the sector. 180 analytical sector staff cover more than1,700 infrastructure issuers globally. Moody’s EMEA team of 46 specialists is responsible for rating around 430 issuers. The rating agency covers more than 39,000issuers and transactions. Prior to joining Moody’s, Raffaella worked in the internal credit department ofMediobanca in Milan. She holds a degree in law and business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Alexandra serves as a lead analyst for financial institutions in EMEA, including asset managers, insurance brokers, insurance companies and funds. She joined Moody's in 2013 after two years of experience in the banking sector. 

Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Manchester Business School, and BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macedonia, Greece.

Andreas Botterbusch is an Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Structured Finance Group at Moody’s Investors Service in Frankfurt. He covers European Collateralised Debt Obligations (CDOs), ABS SME transactions and Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP).Prior to joining Moody’s in January 2014, Andreas was a senior risk analyst at West LB AG, where he worked on European securitisation transactions of different asset classes, including trade receivables, leases, consumer loans and nonperforming loans. He was also responsible for the Compass ABCP programme.  Andreas Botterbusch started his career at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA. He holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Cologne and a CEMS Master in International Management (University of Cologne/ Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin). Andreas is also a CFA charterholder

Ramzi is a Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group in London focused on real estate.

He joined Moody’s in February 2011 as a lead analyst in EMEA CMBS responsible for analysing and rating a large variety of commercial mortgage backed transactions across all EMEA jurisdictions and property types. Ramzi’s responsibilities also included researching and analysing property market data and tracking European occupational and investment market trends.

Ramzi also worked in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group’s Analytics Team, where he was instrumental in conducting successful stress tests for banks globally as well as monitoring bank asset quality.

Prior to beginning his career at Moody’s in 2011, Ramzi spent 15 years working with a variety of European banks as a real estate credit specialist, and also worked in the Middle East on real estate development projects.

Ramzi’s prior roles included working as a senior real estate credit officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland. He also worked as deputy head of portfolio management at pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank with direct risk responsibility for a large real estate finance portfolio covering a diverse range of assets including office, retail, industrial, hotels, residential, and healthcare.

Ramzi earned his MSc in Real Estate Investment from the Cass Business School. He also holds an MSc in Finance and a BA in General Management, both from Boston College.

Vanessa is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in the Funds & Asset Management group, based in Paris. She joined Moody’s in 1998. She is Team Leader in EMEA and Asia Pacific, responsible for ratings and research in the asset management industry and fund finance. Vanessa holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from University Laval of Quebec, Canada and is also graduate from EDHEC (Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord), a French Business School. She holds a SFAF diploma (i.e. the French equivalent to the CFA).

Brian Snow is a Vice President – Senior Analyst at Moody’s in London. He is a lead analyst covering various issuers of CMBS across all European jurisdictions and property types. Furthermore, he is responsible for performing surveillance on a portfolio of CMBS transactions with exposure to a wide spectrum of borrowers, countries, and property types. He is also involved in the implementation of various ESG initiatives that are essential to our credit analysis. Brian regularly speaks on industry panels and participates in industry groups such as CREFC Europe and the Investment Property Forum (IPF). 

Prior to joining Moody’s EMEA CMBS team in 2021, Brian was a credit ratings analyst with a combined 15 years of experience at Moody’s (New York), DBRS/Morningstar, and Standard & Poor’s. He previously had stints in banking at GE Capital, Bank of Nova Scotia and ABN Amro. 

Prior to working in finance, Brian was a civil/environmental engineer working on the design, planning and permitting of new land developments and conducting technical due diligence on commercial property in North America. 

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
