Wael Jadallah is the Managing Director – Head of Asia Pacific and Middle East at Moody’s, located in Singapore. With over 30 years of experience in banking, business information, finance, and risk management, Wael has held leadership positions in New York, London, Dubai, and Singapore since joining Moody’s in 2005. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in building teams and shaping go-to-market strategies in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

Wael is a passionate advocate and ambassador of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Moody’s, championing inclusive leadership across the organization.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Wael held various roles at Bankers Trust, Thomson Financial, and Dun & Bradstreet.

Alicia Yang is the Managing Director of Sales for Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore, responsible for driving business growth and strategic priorities for the region. She’s most passionate about building a diversified sales team that could represent and convey Moody’s story to the world, and help clients find the solutions to decode risk & unlock opportunities. Alicia is also a key advocate and ambassador of Diversity and Inclusion at Moody’s. She serves as the chair for Women In Sales (WIS) for APAC & ME and Singapore Country Lead for the GenERGy (Generation BRG) Business Resources Group since 2022.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Alicia held various positions in sales, project management & delivery, business analysis, product strategy & management across government, corporate and banking industry. With her diverse background and experience in sales brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to her role at Moody’s.

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Information Technology majoring in System management from National University of Malaysia.

Mr. Hsu joined the Bank in March 2023 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. In addition to his role as Chief Strategy Officer, he was appointed as Chief Risk Officer in February 2024 and oversees the Bank’s Group Risk Management. Mr. Hsu has over 30 years of banking experience, and possesses solid frontline and control experience from local and foreign banks including Citibank, Barclays Bank, Chong Hing Bank, Deutsche Bank and Hang Seng Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, he was CEO of ZA Bank. Mr. Hsu graduated from New York University with B.S. Finance & International Business.

Frankie Phua is the Managing Director and Head of Group Risk Management at UOB. In this role, he oversees all risk management matters for UOB Group including credit risk, market risk, balance sheet risk, operational risk, risk strategy, fraud risk, technology risk, product control and risk analytics. Prior to joining UOB Risk Management, Frankie spent more than 10 years in the frontline in Corporate/Commercial banking.

Frankie, a seasoned risk practitioner, is an active contributor to the risk management community. For the past 10 years, he has been the Chairman and a Director of the Board of the Singapore Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA), an organization associated with RMA USA. He is appointed by Risk Management Institute (RMI), National University of Singapore (NUS) as a lecturer for the Specialist Diploma course in Credit Risk Management – Corporate Banking. He is also regularly engaged by NUS RMI to teach customized risk management courses.

Frankie was conferred the IBF Distinguished Fellow Award in Risk Management. The "IBF Distinguished Fellow" is a prestigious title conferred upon industry leaders who are the epitome of professional stature, integrity, and achievement. The Distinguished Fellows serve as a beacon of excellence for the industry.

Yasman Moghaddam is a Subject Matter Expert within the Moody’s risk and finance analytics practice across APAC and Middle East. Her areas of focus include some of the key emerging themes including climate risk management and particularly around financial risk analytics and quantification.

Her most recent work has included strategizing with a number of key financial institutions across APAC and the Middle East in designing scalable and fit for purpose ESG and climate risk management frameworks to support risk identification, quantification, integration as part of lending as well as climate stress testing exercises with the aim to address the emerging regulatory requirements as well as enhancing internal processes.

Since joining Moody’s, she has been focusing on areas including Stress Testing, IFRS 9, Early Warning Solutions and ESG & Climate Change which she has also participated in a number of events and webinars as a speaker to discuss emerging trends, challenges and thought leadership on these areas. Yasman comes with a wealth of experience from her previous role as a consultant in the Enterprise Risk Management space, working with various Financial Institutions as well as regulators across APAC and the Middle East in the design and implementation of risk management and regulatory frameworks.

David Pan is an Industry Practice Lead for Asia Pacific at Moody’s and is responsible for exploring innovative applications of Moody's data exposed through GenAI. He advises organizations across the region on distinguishing hype from reality, identifying practical use cases, and guiding effective adoption strategies.

Prior to joining Moody’s, David has led GenAI solutioning efforts for large multinational enterprises, co-authored enterprise AI development handbooks and oversaw production deployments of generative AI projects delivering measurable business impact. He has held various leadership positions in Professional Services, Solution Architecture and Business Development working in Financial Crime and Compliance, Fraud and Identity and Data Science consultancy. 

David currently holds an Executive MBA at INSEAD.

Eugene Tarzimanov is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, he is the Lead Analyst for banks in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. 

Eugene is also responsible for coordinating banking research across Asia Pacific, and actively represents Moody’s to regulators, investors and the media on analytical and methodological views. Eugene moved to Singapore from Moody’s Moscow office, where he covered the largest banks in Russia, as well as financial institutions in Europe and the Middle East.

Before joining Moody’s in early 2009, Eugene held senior positions during his five years with Standard & Poor’s, where he was responsible for the analysis of banks in Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked at the CEO’s office of Bank VTB, where he was responsible for inhouse research.

Eugene holds an MBA in financial management from New York’s Pace University, and a BSc in international economics from Moscow’s Finance Academy.

Nick is Senior Director Strategy and Innovation at Moody’s with a focus on fighting fraud and financial crime. Prior to Moody’s, Nick spent 10 years on the vendor tech side working across a variety of strategy roles, notably at LexisNexis Risk Solutions delivering fraud, ID&V and risk solutions.

The first 10 years of Nick’s career were spent in banking and fintechs including Barclays, RBS, Lloyds and WorldPay.
