Fabio Iannò is in charge of a portfolio of Italian and dutch banks. 

Prior to joining Moody’s in March 2018, Fabio was a Director at Fitch Ratings in London for 7 years covering Italian banks. Before Fitch Ratings he worked for Deloitte & Touche in New York (2008 - 2009) as Senior Consultant in the Capital Markets division and in Milan (2004 - 2008) in the audit department.

Fabio holds an MBA - Master in Business Administration (SDA Bocconi) and an MSc in International Business (Bocconi University).

Stefano Firpo has been Director General of Assonime since November 2022. 

Previously, he was Head of Cabinet of the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital
Transition, Vittorio Colao. In this role he designed and followed the implementation of all public
administration digitalisation projects included in the NRRP: investments in ultra-broadband and 5G
connectivity, initiatives to secure and efficient cloud infrastructures for the public administration, the
preparation of new digital platforms to enable new and more widespread digital services for
citizens, and interventions for the enhancement of digital skills. He also participated in the
preparation of the national strategy on artificial intelligence and oversaw the intervention policies in
space and aerospace.

Before this he held the position of Director General of Mediocredito Italiano, the bank owned by the
Intesa Sanpaolo Group with specialised skills in supporting SME credit. He was Director General
for industrial policy, competitiveness and small and medium-sized enterprises at the Ministry of
Economic Development and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Minister of Economic
Development, covering these roles from the Monti government to the Conte I government. He was
also member of the group coordinating economic policy during the Renzi government.
He designed and implemented national legislation on innovative startups and SMEs and the
National Industry 4.0 Plan. As writer of the Destination Italy Report and member of the Finance for
Growth Group, he worked on attracting foreign investments in Italy, on the liberalisation of
corporate bond issues and on measures to stimulate private equity investments.
Previously, he worked as an economist at the European Central Bank and in the Intesa Sanpaolo
Banking Group where he was in charge of the CEO's office.

He graduated in Political Science from the University of Turin and obtained a post-graduate
specialisation degree in International Economics from the London School of Economics.
Stefano Firpo is Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Vanni Zanchi is a Partner at Arcmont Asset Management. Vanni was previously a Principal at BlueBay’s Private Debt group where he worked from 2018. Prior to BlueBay, Vanni worked as an Associate Director in the Private Debt team with Muzinich & Co. His role there was varied and incorporated origination, deal execution, and portfolio management. Before joining Muzinich, he worked for H14, a primary family office in Italy where he covered Private Equity investments in digital and technology companies in Europe and U.S. At the beginning of his career, he worked in the M&A teams of J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse in London and Milan.
Vanni holds a Bachelor Degree and a Master of Science summa cum laude in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan.

Antonello Aquino is Managing Director, global co-head for Insurance, Funds and Asset Management, and EMEA Private Credit at Moody’s Ratings. He leads Moody’s analytical team responsible for maintaining credit ratings on insurers, funds, and asset managers in EMEA and North America, as well as private credit entities.

Antonello joined Moody’s in 2008 as a Senior Insurance Analyst, covering major European (re)insurers. Prior to Moody’s, he led the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) rating advisory practice at Credit Suisse in Europe. His earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst in Standard & Poor’s insurance sector, and positions within the FIG M&A teams at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) and ABN AMRO.

He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is an alumnus of London Business School. He graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Italy. Antonello is fluent in English, Italian, and French.

Since August 2023, Simone has been serving as the Manager of the Corporate Finance Group in Milan, with a focus on the European Consumer Goods Industry. Prior to this, Simone was manager within the Rating and Research Support Group in EMEA for the FIG, Sovereign, and Sub-Sovereign teams. Simone’s team provided support for ratings, research, and related activities within these fundamental rating groups. Additionally, Simone has been instrumental in refining processes and standards, both as the co- executive sponsor of the Credit Estimate initiative in RRS and through his work on Workflow Optimization. Simone began his career at Moody's in 2003 within the Sub-Sovereign team in London. Over the years, he has held increasingly senior analytical roles covering European Regional and Local Governments and Government-Related Issuers, working closely with the Project and Infrastructure Group on Utility Companies and the Structured Finance Group on Asset-Backed Securities transactions. In 2008, Simone transitioned to the Financial Institution Group, where he covered EMEA Banks and Financial Companies. Before joining Moody's, Simone worked in the rating advisory team of Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. He holds a graduate degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Ancona (Italy) and a certificate in Investment Management from the London Business School (UK).

Michelangelo Margaria is an Associate Managing Director with Moody’s Structured Finance Group and is based in the Milan office. 

He co-leads the Consumer Securitisation team in the EMEA region and coordinates the Structured Finance activity in the Italian market. Previously, he co-led the EMEA RMBS team and was a senior analyst rating securitization transactions backed by different asset classes in various EMEA jurisdictions.

Michelangelo Margaria also serves as Moody’s Ratings Country Manager for Italy, overseeing Moody's Ratings activities in the country. Before joining Moody’s in 2002, Michelangelo worked in the Structured Credit Group at UBS in London. Mr. Margaria graduated in engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin.

Steffen Dyck is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group.

Based in Frankfurt, he is the lead analyst for a portfolio of European sovereigns including Italy and, until recently, Germany.

Steffen is also co-heading the Sovereign group’s ESG work.

Up until early 2018, Steffen was the lead analyst for number of sovereigns and multilaterals in the Middle East, including Egypt and most of the Gulf Cooperation Council members.

Before relocating to Frankfurt in June 2015, Steffen was based in Moody’s Singapore office, where he covered sovereigns in the Asia-Pacific region as well as in the Middle East.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2012, Steffen worked for more than six years with Deutsche Bank’s Risk Analysis team in Frankfurt and Singapore, covering macroeconomic and sovereign risk analysis across Asia (ex-Japan), Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also helped manage the bank’s sovereign rating processes.

Ruosha joined Moody’s in January 2011. She is part of the Credit Strategy & Guidance team based in London. Previously, she worked as an economic research analyst at Barrie & Hibbert in Edinburgh, now part of Moody’s Analytics. 

Prior to that, she served as a credit analyst at HSBC in China. Ruosha holds a master’s degree in finance and investment from the University of Edinburgh, where she graduated with distinction, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a certified Financial Risk Manager.

Paolo Leschiutta is a Senior Vice President in the European Corporate Finance Team of Moody’s in Milan. Paolo joined Moody’s London in 2000 and Moody’s Italia in July 2005. Paolo has lead responsibility for a portfolio of European high yield and investment grade packaged goods companies with focus on Food and Beverage industries. Over its tenure at Moody’s Paolo has covered a number of sectors within the broad consumer products and transportation industries including Postal, Tobacco, Shipping, Retail and Consumer Durable companies across Europe.

Prior to re-joining Moody’s in Italy, Paolo worked as a Senior Credit Analyst at MFC Global Investments, part of Manulife Group in London, covering European Corporates. Paolo graduated in Economics at the University of Turin and holds an MSc in Finance attended at the S.A.A., part of the University of Turin, and the Stern School of Business, part of the NYU.
