Michael Theurer has been a member of the Deutsche Bundesbank’s Executive Board since September 2024, where he is responsible for financial supervision and financial stability. In this capacity, he is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism at the European Central Bank, the German Financial Stability Committee and the Committee on the Global Financial System of the Bank for International Settlements.

Prior to joining the Bundesbank’s Executive Board, Mr Theurer, an economist by training, was a member of the German Bundestag from 2017 to 2024. From 2021 to 2024 he was parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport and, from 2022 to 2024, the Federal Government Commissioner for Rail Transport.

From 2009 to 2017, Mr Theurer was a member of the European Parliament and, from 2011 to 2014, Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control. 

From 1995 to 2009, Mr Theurer was Lord Mayor of the city of Horb am Neckar.

Stefan Kopf is the Head of Fixed Income at Ampega Asset Management GmbH, where he oversees the fixed income portfolios of the Talanx Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for the Group’s macroeconomic strategy and its tactical asset allocation decisions.

Mr Kopf joined Ampega Asset Management in 2012. Prior to this, he held various fixed income roles in London at Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan, gaining extensive experience across global credit and rates markets. He holds a degree in Business Administration (Diplom‑Kaufmann).

Dr. Veronika Herzberger, CFA, Managing Director, is Head of Fixed Income Solutions at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, a role she has held since March 2025. She leads the firm’s fixed income platform across corporate bonds, sovereign bonds, and high yield, and is responsible for all fixed income mandates within asset management. Previously, Veronika was Head of Fixed Income Portfolio Management at Quoniam Asset Management, where she held overall leadership responsibility for the fixed income investment platform. Prior to that, she worked in senior investment roles focusing on global fixed income portfolio management and credit analysis.

She holds a Doctorate in Economics from WU Vienna, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and serves as a non-executive supervisory board member.

Florian is Global Head of Private Debt at Allianz Investment Management and Deputy CIO of AZ Leben. Previous roles at Allianz since 2009 include Head of Investment Strategy for the German Life / Health portfolios during which Florian was responsible for the alternative investments of the German flagship insurance portfolios. Before joining Allianz he did a PhD in Mathematical finance.

A seasoned business builder, Florian Winkler held pivotal roles at Siemens and BT Global Services before joining e-shelter, a German wholesale data center provider at the time in 2012. After the acquisition of e-shelter by Japanese ICT giant NTT and being appointed CEO of NTT Global Data Centers EMEA from 2019, Florian led the integration of the regional data center businesses e-shelter and Gyron into a unified leading data center provider in EMEA, driving exceptional growth and fostering a distinct cohesive culture under the wider roof of NTT. Until most recently, Florian acted as Global COO of NTT Global Data Centers and focused on operational excellence, sustainability, and integration for scale, ensuring the organization's continued growth and success across the globe.

Florian is German by birth and, while having always been a global citizen throughout his international career, loves to come back to his home base here in Munich. He has a passion for integrating organizations and developing people. Florian holds an MBA from the University of Dayton (Ohio, USA) and a diploma in Economics from the University of Augsburg (Germany).

Jürgen leads strategy and market development for Siemens Energy in Europe. Since joining the company in 2018, he has served in several strategic and leadership roles, including Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Head of the Innovation Field Energy Storage, and Chief of Staff. His work focuses on shaping the energy transition, advancing innovative technologies, and driving growth across evolving European energy markets.

Jürgen holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Business.

Karen joined Moody's in 2004 in its New York office, where she worked as a corporate

credit analyst for over 10 years, primarily focused on leveraged finance, before

transferring to Moody's methodology development group. In that role she lead and

contributed to the development of methodologies across ratings groups and industry

sectors and established the group's presence in Europe with her move to Frankfurt in

February 2018. She returned to CFG as an Associate Managing Director in September

2021.

Prior to Moody’s, Karen worked at a high yield brokerdealer, at National Australia

Bank Limited, and in market research for Barron’s magazine. She also participated in a

volunteer service program in Kingston, Jamaica, for one year. Karen graduated magna

cum laude from The University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in English. She is a CFA

charterholder.

Alexander Hendricks is an Associate Managing Director within Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group in Europe. Alexander has responsibility for the analytical teams covering financial institutions -predominantly banks -in Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as Central and Eastern Europe. He joined Moody’s in 2013.

Alexander holds a Master of Business Administration degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) from University of Mannheim, with specialisation in Banking and Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.

Prior to Moody’s, Alexander’s most recent role was Director in Company Research at Deutsche Bank, where he had responsibility for the analytical coverage of financial institutions in Germany and Austria, and co-responsibility for European investment banks. In addition, he acted as hub for European regulatory matters in banks research and previously held responsibilities for the analysis of real estate companies and stock exchanges. He began his career as a trainee in corporate banking, retail banking and investment banking.

Christian Hendker rejoined Moody’s European Corporate Finance Group beginning of November 2018 as Associate Managing Director. Christian will be responsible for a team of Manufacturing Analysts based in Frankfurt, reporting to Matthias Hellstern. Over the last 7 years, Christian Hendker managed a team of credit analysts as Head of Credit Research at Talanx Asset Management in Cologne, the Asset Management arm of the insurance group Talanx AG. Prior to that, Christian Hendker was VP-Senior Analyst at Moody’s in Frankfurt, which he initially joined in 2004, responsible for the European Pulp & Paper industry. Christian Hendker started his career as a consultant at PriceWaterhouse Coopers Corporate Finance Beratung GmbH in Frankfurt. Christian has a Diploma degree in Business Administration from the University of Muenster and is a CFA Charterholder.

Ruosha joined Moody’s in January 2011. She is part of the Credit Strategy & Guidance team based in London. Previously, she worked as an economic research analyst at Barrie & Hibbert in Edinburgh, now part of Moody’s Analytics. 

Prior to that, she served as a credit analyst at HSBC in China. Ruosha holds a master’s degree in finance and investment from the University of Edinburgh, where she graduated with distinction, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a certified Financial Risk Manager.

Oliver joined Moody's in May 2005. He is a lead analyst covering various real estate Issuers across EMEA. He started his career at Moody's in the CMBS team, where he has been working on CMBS transactions across all EMEA jurisdictions and property types, and was instrumental in methodology developments as well as sector and individual transaction surveillance. Oliver is located in Moody's Frankfurt office. Prior to joining Moody's Oliver worked within the finance department of Roche Diagnostics and spent 2 years at a German savings bank.
