Fabian Astic serves on Moody’s Ratings’ Senior Leadership Team as Managing Director, Global Head of Digital Economy, and Chair of the AI Oversight Working Group. He leads the rating agency’s preparedness efforts related to the digitalization of the global economy, including Digital Finance, AI Analytics, and Cyber Credit Risk.
Fabian is a recognized expert in traditional and digital finance, often contributing to industry events and conferences. He serves on the Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee, and on the board of QuantCubeTechnology, an AI-powered predictive analytics company.
Prior to his current role, Fabian led quantitative analytics and innovation for the rating agency. He joined Moody’s in 2006 and had various roles in the Credit Strategy & Standards and Structured Finance groups.
Fabian’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Mathematical Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Applied to Economic Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Executive Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, where he specialized in Quantitative Finance.
Gene Fang은 아시아Sovereign and Sub-sovereign Ratings Group 담당 Associate Managing Director이다. 싱가포르에 근무하며 아시아 태평양 지역의 정부 및 지방정부와 준정부기관 신용평가 담당팀과 중국 지방정부 신용평가 담당 애널리스트들을 총괄하고 있다.
Gene Fang은 Moody’s 입사 이전 J.P. Morgan과 Citigroup에서 인베스트먼트 뱅커로 일하며 아시아 지역 금융기관 섹터를 담당하였다.
인베스트먼트 뱅커로서 은행 및 보험 부문의 채권, 주식 및 M&A 거래에 대한 자문을 수행하였다. 콜럼비아대학교에서 정치학 학사 학위를 취득했으며, 하버드 경영대학원(Harvard Business School)에서 MBA 학위 및 하버드 대학교 케네디 행정대학원(Harvard University Kennedy School of Government)에서 공공정책학 석사 학위를 취득하였다.
