Linus Silfverduk is Associate Managing Director – Head of Relationship Management for the Nordic region as well as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Moody's Ratings maintains approximately 500 existing rating relationships across the region from various sectors such as corporates, financials, sovereign, sub-sovereign, and infrastructure. The coverage teams, based out of Stockholm, Frankfurt and Zurich, are responsible for account management, business development and engagement with local rating advisers and other intermediaries.
Linus is also Moody’s Ratings Country Manager for Sweden and Director of the Nordic subsidiary, Moody’s Ratings (Nordics AB). He is a member of Moody’s Veterans Business Resource Group as well as a steerco member of the Minds mental health Business Resource Group.
Prior to joining Moody’s in early 2017, Linus worked ten years for Nordea Bank, from 2010 in the Corporate & Investment Banking division, covering a portfolio of Swedish global manufacturing companies. Linus has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics.
Colin Ellis is Moody’s first Global Credit Strategist, and a Managing Director in the Credit Strategy team.
In his current role, Colin provides thought leadership for the rating agency that deepens the understanding of ratings and debt capital markets through rigorous and quantitative research. He leads Moody’s teams working on default and ratings analytics and on global financial analysis, including bank projections and stress testing. Colin is also a member of Moody’s Macroeconomic Board, which sets the global forecasts that underpin Moody’s universe of ratings.
Colin joined Moody’s in February 2012, initially leading the work of the Macroeconomic Board and authoring the quarterly Global Macro Outlook. He subsequently worked in the Financial Institutions Group, developing quantitative forward-looking analyses. For 8 years he was the Chief Credit Officer for EMEA, leading analysis and coordination of credit and ratings across all rating franchises in the region. He was also the ‘Head of UK’ for Moody's Ratings, responsible for the running of Moody’s UK operations, from 2019-2022 including the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Colin held roles at the Bank of England, Daiwa Capital Markets, the BVCA and at Birmingham University. He has published papers on a range of topics including corporate investment and pricing, credit risk, private equity, data uncertainty, stress testing, financial contagion and monetary policy. Colin holds degrees from York University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Middlesex University. Niclas Boheman, based in Stockholm, is Moody’s lead analyst on a number of financial institutions in the Nordics and Baltics. He also focuses on innovation and digitalisation trends in financial services in Europe.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2016, Mr Boheman was a credit analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Svenska Handelsbanken, Stockholm. Mr Boheman holds a Degree of Master of Science (One Year) in International Economics from the School of Economics and Management, Lund University.
Daniel Harlid is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Stockholm, Sweden. He is responsible for a portfolio of investment grade and sub-investment grade companies within the European container shipping sector as well as in the logistics industry. Additionally, he covers investment grade issuers in the Nordic manufacturing sector. Daniel joined Moody’s in 2017. Prior to this, he was a portfolio manager at Cicero Fonder managing funds with both investment grade and high yield mandates. Daniel started his career as an equity analyst for Handelsbanken Capital Markets.
Alexander Zeidler is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s in London. He coordinates Moody’s efforts in the Nordic covered bond markets Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and in the Baltic countries. Furthermore, he is responsible for a portfolio of covered bond programmes in Norway and Switzerland and was previously leading the analysis of the covered bond markets in Austria and Luxembourg. As a senior member of the analytical team, Alexander has coordinated and contributed to a number of publications and regularly speaks at investor and industry conferences. Prior to joining Moody’s EMEA Covered Bonds team in 2010, Alexander was responsible for a portfolio of CMBS transactions in the UK, France, the Netherlands and Germany for four years. Alexander started his career in commercial real estate finance, working for overten years as an underwriter, credit auditor and corporate analyst at UniCredit in Germany. Alexander also holds a MBA from a Fulbright program sponsored by the U.S. government at the University of Louisville, U.S.A. In his previous role, he successfully led a team of financial data analysts covering Structured Finance. Concurrently, he has been involved in the blockchain space since 2016. Stephen Boyer is a technology entrepreneur and executive, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at BitSight. Stephen ensures an aligned vision between industry challenges and platform offerings, enabling organizations to create trust in the digital economy. He is a frequent speaker for security, risk, and insurance topics. He co-founded BitSight in 2011.
Swami Venkataraman, CFA, is an Associate Managing Director in the Sustainable Finance group at Moody's Ratings. He manages a global team of analysts responsible for producing assessments and thematic research on the credentials of sustainability debt instruments and financing frameworks (Second Party Opinions) and the strength of entities carbon transition plans (Net Zero Assessments). He also leads related outreach efforts for Moody's with regulators, standard setters, investors, corporates and other market participants.
Swami regularly participates in high-profile working groups, conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the International Energy Agency's Finance Industry Advisory Board, the Institute for International Finance's (IIF) Sustainable Finance Working Group, the Executive Committee of the ESG Integrated Disclosure Project (IDP) for private capital markets and manages key external relationships for Moody's such as the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) and Ceres. He has presented on climate finance topics at the 2022 UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) and at various initiatives of the World Bank.
